A stunning French 18th century fauteuil arm chair. Upholstered in a silk damask stripe with feather filled cushion. A very good patina on this chair! Excellent old white paint with hints of original gold gilding. Exquisite carving. The silhouette is beautiful. Easy-going and solid - really best as an occasional chair or bedroom chair! Should not be "scooted" across the floor on.....
