Shipping policy

Furniture: Zone 1: Between $350 and $550 (depending on size) plus $200 and $400 (depending on size) for each additional item on the same order to Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washinstong DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, excludes Alaska & Hawaii.

Furniture: Zone 2: Between $400 and $625 (depending on size) plus $225 and $500 (depending on size) for each additional item on the same order to Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, excludes Alaska & Hawaii.

Larger pieces can be an additional amount and are always charged as the first item on an order. Shipping is calculated at checkout with discounts applied above before purchase. Note: Purchaser is responsible for additional delivery costs such as ferry transport and other fees associated with the delivery location.

Current furniture delivery times are 4 to 8 weeks and sometimes longer. We select individual shippers whom we trust. Shipments are scheduled by regions at regular intervals. Your patience is appreciated!

Small Items sent by standard couriers such as UPS: Rates are calculated in real time by the selected service based on the dimensions, weight and destination. We will ship your item from our warehouse within 1-2 weeks.

The Parson's Nose is a small business, and every sale is important to us!

We work hard to ship your item as soon as possible, however delivery may take up to 8 weeks, and on rare occasions, it may take longer.

Buyers west of the Mississippi may experience the longest delivery times - possibly more than 8 weeks.

Your item will be blanket wrapped in preparation for shipping.

We will notify you through email when your item leaves our warehouse with our courier. You will then hear from our courier to arrange a specific delivery time. Your flexibility is greatly appreciated as our couriers may request delivery times outside of "normal" business hours.

NOTES:

  • We provide door-to-door service. Our courier will bring the item to your door. Please plan to make arrangements to bring the item into your home.

  • Our deliveries are bundled by region to provide most cost effective delivery. Our drivers are delivering multiple orders at various locations and can experience unforeseen delays. Your flexibility in timing of delivery is greatly appreciated.

  • Tolls & other Transportation Costs: Purchaser is responsible for additional delivery costs such as ferry transport and other fees associated with the delivery location.

  • Antiques may slightly change when they are in a new environment. Changes in temperature and humidity can cause doors and drawers to shift. A light coat of wax on Doors and drawer runners can often solve this problem.
