A Pair of White Blanc De Chine Chinese Vases from the Metropolitan Museum of Art

A stunning pair of blanc de chine vases from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Both marked on the bottom "©MMA 1994". It is an exact replica of an item in the Museum collection. It stands approximately 11" tall and is approximately 6 1/2" wide at its widest point. The raised pattern on the bowl part are representative of Chinese figures of water lilies, branches, and clouds, which also appear under the outward extending lip. The top part features what appear to be palm fronds or feathers above a Greek key pattern.
