A stately, rustic, and delightful English pine rent collectors desk circa 19th Century. "As found" patina. A beautiful waxed surface with wear in all the right places. Aged matching wooden knob hardware and a 7 drawer configuration. The gallery features four smaller drawers, a small cupboard and a candlestick holder. A simple inset brass escutcheon adorns each drawer. This piece has a very charming feel to it. Possibly Bob Cratchit's desk....?
