A set of 4 Irish pottery egg cups with green stripes. These are truly charming! Who doesn’t love this combination of white and green? These are made by hand and painted individually. Likely by Carrigaline Pottery, marked “Ireland”. Imported from England.

About Carrigaline Pottery:

Established in 1928, Carrigaline was a pottery business founded by Hodder Walworth Blacker Roberts in County Cork, Ireland. They were successful from the start and soon became known in the mid-20th century for their "Colleen" colourful, striped tableware (similar to Cornishware and Staffordshire Chef Ware) plus commemorative and souvenir items. The pottery closed in 1979.
