Antique Wooden Artist's Stool c1890

A delightful antique wooden artists or painter's stool. A rather unusual find! The top of this little stool can be opened to fit your tubes of paint in, and the legs fold up so you can bring this piece into the open air, and use it as a stool while you paint! Good old finish and original caning. A handy old iron handle enables transport. A rare and good thing! 19th Century.
