A large and handsome English oak chest of drawers. Very nice coloring with a good patina. Lively with good and solid bracket feet. Well-constructed and an excellent heirloom piece. Beautiful dovetail construction. The top has a gap where the boards have shrunken over the years (see photo). Imported from England. A very pleasing piece, good proportions to the drawers, hardware and escutcheons.

Condition: scratches, dents, marks, stains, splits in timber, rings, historical repairs, uneven coloring, the top has a gap where the boards have shrunken over the years (see photo) replaced hardware, some stains in drawers - beautiful patina!
