A Beautiful English Oak Drop Front Desk c1800

A most beautiful English country oak 19th century secretary desk. Exquisite patina c1800. The slant front opens to reveal numerous drawers and letter slots. Bracket feet. As useful as it is beautiful. A delightful and easy going piece. Dovetail construction, very heavy and ready to use! This is what is known as a cottage piece - it comes apart into 2 sections for easy of transport up and down the narrow cottage stairs! Imported from England. This is a solid desk.
