An English Country Pine Painted Sideboard Buffet c1840

An antique English country painted pine dresser base c1840. A mustard green base with a delightful honey pine top. Wooden knobs adorn each drawer. Chunky tulip feet. Half spindles decorate the front. Decorative designs adorn the sides. The beautiful thick top gives a solid feel. The top comes off and floats on the base and is secure with cleats. Doors on either end. Useful drawers run the length of the top. Strong and sturdy in joint and ready for use. A particularly heavy piece of furniture. Dovetail drawer construction. Imported from England.

Condition: scratches, dents, marks, stains, cracks, chips, replaced hardware, worn spots, discoloration on the top surface, historical repairs - solid and ready to use, beautiful patina!
