A lovely antique English mahogany tilt-top candlestick table c1800. The patina on this table is exceptional, having been developed over many years. Heirloom. The top has a delightful deep mahogany colour, base has a beautifully turned stem terminating in gracefully ball and claw feet. Easy piece to live with and quite useful. Birdcage mechanism attaches the top to the base. English Country House look at its best! This is not a piece for heavy use, more of an occasional piece. A beautiful piece of period mahogany!
