A Chinese Porcelain Nyonya Straits Kamcheng Bowl
A Chinese Nyonya Straits Kamcheng bowl with cover. 'Kamcheng' is a Hokkien (southern Chinese) word meaning 'covered jar'. A 'kamcheng' was used as a container for water, pickles and other types of food. This is a vintage bowl with beautiful blue and white decorations. All hand pinted with a foo dog as the finial!
